About

Who is Bri?

I’m an endurance sport and fitness junkie (cycling, running, hiking, yoga, Pilates, barre, weight lifting, ultra trail running) who loves to explore the great outdoors on Vancouver Island with my husband and our two dogs.

By day I work in human resources and communications, and the rest of the time I am a freelance fitness writer and health and wellness advocate. I have had articles featured in print in IMPACT Magazine and Get Out There Magazine, as well as on numerous blogs and websites. I am also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and yoga teacher.

My goal with this blog is to inspire others to get outside and experience all the fantastic trails, mountains, lakes and endurance events on the island and beyond. I have a passion for health and fitness, and hope to motivate others to get moving and enjoy being active as much as I do. I also hope to inspire others to consider a kinder way of living; whether that’s with mindfulness and being kinder to yourself or opting for a more sustainable way of living that causes less harm to other living beings on this planet.

Work with me!
I’m taking a break from personal training at the moment, but will be offering coaching and classes again in the new year… so stay tuned!
